Each family group compressed file contains folders for birth, Census, death, marriage, and other information. In order to not duplicate files, the birth and marriage record for any children who marry is kept with the parent’s records and not with the new couples family group, if one was created. Since I did not create family groups for the females who married, I thought this would be more consistent to keep children birth and marriage records with the parents. If the children did not marry, their other information, including death records are kept with the parent’s records.
To identify who your ancestors are back to Thomas and Mercy Weast, download the Weeast Family Group Hierarchy file and trace backward from your known relatives (parents, grandparents, great-grandparents). You can then identify which Family Group files to download.

You may need to download a program to uncompress the Family Group file. If you are having difficulty doing this, you will need to contact someone in your family who is technically savvy.
